The exhibition is non-profit, designed to focus attention on the talented artists of our region and with the addition of Saltspring the show will be even more diverse and exciting. Said Sam Connery, well known local artist, "the 2003 and 2004 From Mud to Magic shows were just exceptional"
Says founder Andrea Simmons "This years theme "Pushing the Boundries" gives all entering artists the opportunity to enter pieces that push the envelope of who we are from the heart or to take more creative risk." There will be a special award added this year for the piece that most represents the theme in the mind of the Jurors.
Jurors this year are Lin Holley
of Seattle, producer of exhibitions, shows and workshops; and Gale Lurie of Seattle, a professional ceramic artist and Past President of the Seattle Potters Association.
